When you think of the perfect getaway for any couple, what could be better than a camping trip for two? When you choose to travel light, you don’t have to tag along so many camping supplies. You only have to bring a simple camping tent that can accommodate two people in comfort and style.
A tent for two is so much easier to set up. There are not so many poles to organize nor so many ropes to attach and pegs to anchor. The tarps are lighter to carry and the lines are faster to assemble.
The less complicated the task is, the better you’ll feel. The lesser chores you have to accomplish, the more time you’ll have for each other. After all, it’s so much easier to clean and cook for two than it is for a family. It is also so much quicker to pack up and relax a bit after your adventure.
When you are offered no frills in an outdoor setting, you just act the way you are with no pretenses at all. You learn to adjust to a simpler way of living and abide by the conditions. Figuratively, you can let your hair down all the while without messing up your style. Literally, you can allow the wind to blow in whatever direction it pleases without minding at all. You can follow your feet wherever the trail leads as you backpack with just a few camping gear in tow.
When you are offered more thrills by an outdoor adventure, you discover more about yourself and your partner. You test your physical abilities on long hikes and survival tactics. You also test your patience and persistence when it comes down to the basics of just having a limited stock of camping supplies to go by.
Since it just boils down to the two of you together, you have to play it more safely. Bring along enough food and water. Equip yourself with an emergency kit complete with flashlights, batteries, and first-aid supplies.
If you want to be quickly spotted overhead for safety reasons, then color would play an important role in your selection of camping tents for two. A bright yellow or neon orange tent would be easier to spot among the vegetation when viewed from above.
A camping trip for two is not just a test of both your characters. It is also a test of how sturdy and durable your tolerance for camping tents really is. You do not have the security of family tents which are much larger, sturdier, and fancier. You only have the most basic camping gear which should prove to be just as sturdy minus the fancy style and the heavy weight.
If you two people can weather the challenges of a camping trip, then your camping tent should be able to weather the forces of nature just as well. You become closer to the elements and closer to each other after a successful and memorable camping trip for two. The next time around, you could be going on another outdoor adventure. And who knows? Maybe then, you’ll be needing something like family tents for a change.
