I am going camping in the winter. Is it still necessary to bring a camping cooler?

Just because you will not need ice cold drinks to get rid of the dry lump in your throat because it is already cold does not mean that you will not need a camping cooler anymore. Keep in mind that the more important function of a cooler aside from keeping your colds drink is keeping your food safe and fresh. And because spoiled food can hurt your tummies or worse, cause food poisoning, it is imperative to bring a camping cooler in your camping trip even if it is winter. This is unless of course you would rather munch entirely on chips, biscuits, and other dry boring food on the whole duration of your trip.
